The Digital Diagnostics Capability (DDC) programme was set up to help deliver the consolidation of diagnostics services identified in the NHS Long Term plan and support the initiatives of improving connectivity and digitisation identified in the Sir Mike Richards Diagnostics Review 2020.
The DDC programme is working to improve the information quality of diagnostics service outputs to improve the provision of healthcare in the NHS.

To improve collaboration the DDC programme is looking to introduce learning networks for Staff across the NHS, involved in digital diagnostics in their capacity as a commissioner, clinician, IT professional or project, programme manager.

Through this learning network, we aim to enable smoother, potentially, safer, and quicker implementations with fewer issues encountered.
Lessons from experience will be shared for awareness and consideration, so that informed decision making in similar situations can be implemented based on evidence.
