Dear Colleagues
The Data Set Development team are currently looking to consult on proposed changes for inclusion within v5.0 of the MHSDS, to go live from April 2021.
We are looking to arrange a number of 1:1 consultations with service providers and system suppliers throughout April, to discuss the requirements in detail. This will help us ensure the solutions are fit for purpose and that the burden and benefits are evidenced.
These consultations are on a voluntary basis and due to COVID-19, they will be undertaken virtually via MS Teams, taking around 2 hours. We would like to extend invites for individual consultations, to any providers or suppliers who feel they would have capacity at this time to input into the development of solutions.
Please note that we will be arranging these on a first come first served basis, so it is important you respond back to us as soon as possible, we are also looking for a good representative selection. Should you not receive confirmation of a place, please be aware that we will also be holding future webinars and events which we will communicate via our usual channels.
Please send your completed forms to the following email address: dataset.development@nhs.net
Kind Regards
Dataset Development
The aims for these consultations are to discuss the draft solutions with respect to local information systems, development timescales and to collect general feedback regarding local practice and wider considerations. These consultations will form a key part of our overall evidence and will ensure the justification, burden and risks of each change are fully articulated.
We will provide any additional material nearer the time.
For individual virtual meetings, we are ideally looking for around two hours to discuss with members of the information team and clinical representation where possible. All consultations will be attended by two members of the MHSDS team (NHS Digital). Agenda items would be provided at least a week before the visit to enable any prior preparation to be undertaken.
At this stage, we are looking for interest so we can collate numbers, if you could please confirm your availability. We anticipate commencing the individual virtual meetings, w/c 6 April to be held over a number of set days and times.
Due to the current situation with regards coronavirus, it is highly likely that we will be holding ALL of these meetings virtually, we will liaise with you all on an individual basis once we have confirmed dates and times with individuals.
Please indicate your preferences within this attached document.
